Ingredients

Churro Dough

  • 1 cup Flourish Pumpkin Spice Protein Pancake Mix
  • ½ cup greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Flourish Breakfast & Baking Syrup 
  • 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil

Egg Wash

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp water

Caramel Sauce

  • ½ Flourish Breakfast & Baking Syrup 
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

To Garnish

  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil or melted butter

Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  • 2 tbsp granulated monk fruit, or sweetener or choice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Caramel Sauce: Bring Flourish Breakfast & Baking Syrup and heavy cream to a boil in a medium saucepan. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 5–10 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Transfer to the fridge to cool.

  2. Mix: Combine all churro dough ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

  3. Shape: Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe into churro shapes.

  4. Egg Wash: Whisk together water and egg, then lightly brush each churro with beaten egg.

  5. Air Fry: Air fry at 350°F for 6–7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Coat: Brush warm churros with olive oil or melted butter, then toss in cinnamon and sweetener.

  7. Enjoy: Serve warm with caramel sauce for dipping.
