Cheesy Pull Apart Bread

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1 ¾ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded 

  • ¾ cup Flourish Buttermilk Protein Pancake Mix

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, cubed

Herb & Garlic Butter

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

  • ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan

  • ½ tsp thinly sliced basil

  • 1 tsp chopped parsley

  • ½ tsp chopped rosemary

  • 1 large garlic clove, minced

  • Marinara sauce, warmed (for serving) 


  1. Melt butter and cheese in a microwavable bowl for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.

  2. Fold in Flourish, egg, and salt until dough texture forms. Chill dough ball in the fridge for an hour.

  3. Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.

  4. Once dough has chilled, cut the dough into 16 pieces. Wrap each piece of dough around a piece of cheese.

  5. Form dough balls into a tree on the lined baking sheet (or any shape you’d like) and sprinkle cheese overtop. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the tops of buns are golden brown.

  6. In a small bowl, mix together butter, parmesan, basil, parsley, rosemary, and garlic until combined. 

  7. Brush herb & garlic butter mixture over top of buns and serve immediately with a side of warmed marinara sauce.
