Healthy Recipe: Protein Glazed Donuts

Ingredients:

Donut Batter

  • 2 cups (240g) Flourish Vanilla Protein Pancake Mix

  • 1 tsp (5g) baking powder 

  • ½ tsp (1g) ground nutmeg

  • 1 cup (250g)  non-fat greek yogurt 

  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract 

Yogurt Glaze 

  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar 

  • 2 tbsp (45g) greek yogurt

  • ¼ tsp (1ml) vanilla

 

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk Flourish Vanilla Protein Pancake Mix, baking powder, and nutmeg together.

  2. Add in greek yogurt and vanilla extract and mix until a dough forms.

  3. Knead dough for 2-3 minutes on a lightly floured surface. Separate into 8 equal balls.

  4. Pinch a hole in the center of the ball and form a ring.

  5. OVEN: Preheat oven 350F. Bake for 10-12 minutes. 

  6. AIR FRY: 400F for 6 minutes.

  7. While donuts cook, make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar,  greek yogurt and vanilla extract. 

Let donuts cool completely. Dip in glaze and let dry on a wire rack then enjoy!
