Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 6 minutes
Total Time 11 minutes
Servings 1 serving makes 5 popsicles

 Flourish Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (61g) of Buttermilk Flourish Protein Pancake Mix

  • ¼ cup (60ml) water or milk

  • 1 medium banana, sliced

  • Optional: powdered sugar, popsicle sticks

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together Flourish protein pancake mix and water (or milk) until combined.

  2. Preheat waffle iron.

  3. Scoop 2 tsp of batter into the waffle iron for each waffle pop, leaving space between each one. Then, place 1 banana slice in the middle of each and press down. If using popsicle sticks, place in the middle of each pop, making sure the popsicle stick is hanging on the edge of the waffle iron.

  4. Cover each pop with about 2 tsp more of the waffle batter.

  5. Close lid; cook until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Transfer waffle pop to a cooling rack. Repeat with the remaining batter and banana slices.

  6. Sprinkle powdered sugar on pops and serve with maple syrup. Enjoy!
